The first Young Movers Conference dates back to 1991 in the South of France.
Over the years the Young Movers Conference has developed into a yearly industry get-together, being held in several of the major European capitals.
Moving companies have evolved and, in parallel with many other professions, are witnessing the growing trend for young people to take over the control and responsibility at an earlier age than may have been traditional in the past.

Young Movers Conference consists of a 3-day program including seminars, meetings, workshops, discussions, insight in new developments at the service providers side, professional training activities and a lot of fun : welcome party, outdoor activities and clubbing. The Gala Dinner is the official closing of our conference.

The Young Movers Conference is a ‘must attend’ for young and ambitious professionals in the moving business and is open to all employees of moving companies from all over the world. During the intensive 3-day program moving colleagues from around the globe will have the opportunity to network with industry-peers and discuss and create new opportunities. This ‘low-entry’ conference offers a unique platform to exchange industry knowledge and obtain important insights in the major industry trends.

YMC 2018 will be hosted in Brussels, Belgium.

YMC 2018 has chosen the beautiful and centrally located Hotel BLOOM! to host this years’ conference. A stay at the heart of Brussels, in a hotel where no two rooms are alike. At Hotel Bloom they thought: how about asking young artists to decorate our rooms. Yep, all 287 of them! As a guest, you get something unique: the luxury of choosing a hand-painted mural inspired by the word “bloom”.

A unique building

The Sint-Felix warehouse is one of the most striking examples of warehouses from the 19th century. In 1860 it was built as a warehouse for goods such as coffee, grain, cheese and tobacco. Since 2006, the Sint-Felix Warehouse once again shines!

The unique inner street of the warehouse connects the Antwerp City center with the Oudeleeuwenrui and is within walking distance of various tourist attractions, cozy squares, the Scheldt quays, cafes and restaurants.

Felix Warehouse has a lot the offer. A market, a restaurant, a cafe, partys… It also provides a place for many marriages.

The Wild Gallery

The Wild Gallery is an amazing 2,200m² event venue located in Brussels.

Built in 1902, this spacious, post-industrial building was originally the headquarter of “Diamant Boart”. The modular space, some 2,200 m², pure white and with a gallery feel, is available for meetings, conferences, seminars, presentations, cocktail evenings, walking dinners, balls, cinema projections, concerts, private events

Moreover, the venue at street level is easily accessible for vehicles. You could for example think about a car launch inside!

Moreover, two parking lots are available at our meeting room. The first one is underground and has 130 places. The other one is external and has 635 places.
